320 pages. This book of memoirs is published during the last months of 2018, when Puerto Rico is facing the social and political effects of hurricane María, the collapse of the miserable colonial regime and the bankruptcy of public finances. It is not a History book even though it narrates the unpublished story of the brave actions by a couple of poor fishermen who provoked the exit from Puerto Rico of the imperialist United States Marines which was the Commonwealth's colonial regime's main support. This is the first volume of "Memorias...", narrated by Carlos Zenón, also known as Taso by those who know him. Taso has insisted in declaring that he holds himself responsible for the narrations, but the project (which includes a webpage) has been made possible by the constant work of Aleida Encarnación, his wife. Tax included. Shipping will be made within 7-10 business days.
